Question: Never owned a gun and i am looking for a good handgun for personal use, i am very interested in the Smith & Wesson .45 M&P, any advice would be appreciated

Answer:  The M&P would be a good choice IMO

Take an NRA basic class (or the equivalant) and you'll know a lot more about it
